• All payment information is transmitted and executed, at the e-gold website by a series of cryptographically secured and authenticated instructions
• Merchant notification of payment is received directly from the e-gold web server by e-mail or an HTML form posted to the merchant's server
• Payment notification contains a digital signature
• Customers do not need to submit any personal information as when using a credit card; payment is direct from their account for privacy
• Payment instructions and notification can not be counterfeited
